An Evening with Samuel Johnson

6:30 pm18:30

An Evening with Samuel Johnson

An Evening with Samuel Johnson’ tells hilarious truths, exposing scandalous showbiz yarns alongside unbelievable personal anecdotes, including his quest for the ghost of a lost poet.

Samuel's story since his sister’s terminal diagnosis is incredible, raw and epic. He broke the world record for longest distance travelled on one wheel. He put on the Big Heart Project which raised a very twinkly $2.55M. He won a Gold Logie for his portrayal of Molly Meldrum, held the Mirrorball trophy aloft in Dancing with the Stars and was awarded the Victorian Australian of the Year in 2018. This show goes way further than that though.

Delve into the brutally honest depths of how he and the world’s most annoying sister decided to stare down mortality and strive for something much bigger than themselves.

Share Sam's DREAM - Pre-show Event

We invite you to join us for a pre-show event at The Dubbo Regional Theatre! Sip on your favourite drinks while enjoying the stunning views of the park from the Theatre forecourt.

The DREAM Festival will provide live entertainment by Sarah Drake, adding an extra touch of magic to the evening.

The Theatre Bar will be open to purchase your drinks and you can pre-order a cheese box to indulge in before the main event.

Samuel Johnson will make a short speech.

Don't miss out on this opportunity to add some extra excitement to your theatre experience.

Sounds dreamy? See you there!
